A refined numerical investigation of a large equivalent shallow-depth underwater explosion

چکیده
The large equivalent shallow-depth explosion problem is very significant in the field of naval architecture and ocean engineering, as such explosions can be used to attack demolish ships anti-ship missiles. In current work, a refined numerical study flow-field characteristics carried out using self-developed Eulerian finite element solver. First, model validated against theoretical results small test tank. are found agree well with experimental results. next step, cavitation cut-off effect added underwater model, phenomenon quantitatively analyzed through pressure. addition, dynamic bubble water hump under various initial conditions for different stand-off parameters analyzed. gravity on these physical processes also discussed. pulsation period, taking into account free surface effect, then studied compared Cole’s formula an explosion. Overall, when parameter γ > 2, influence empirical period not significant. Our investigation provides broad insights from theoretical, experimental, perspectives.
